Sarah Hayley Orrantia

Sarah Hayley Orrantia (born February 21, 1994) is an American performer, actress, and songwriter. She is famous for her role as Erica Goldberg on the ABC comedy series The Goldbergs. She was a part of Lakoda Rayne, a country pop girl group created by Paula Abdul during the first season of The X Factor. In 2015, she debuted "Love Sick", her debut single. Her debut EP, The Way Out (May 2019), was released. Orrantia started singing at the age of nine and started professional training at the age of twelve. She wrote her first song at 13. By 15, she had recorded her first EP of cover songs and started writing songs with the songwriter Jamie Houston who at the time was best known as the songwriter for the three Disney High School Musical movies. Orrantia auditioned in summer 2011 on The X Factor. Orrantia was selected from an YouTube video submission , and got four "yes" votes from judges in the live audition stage in Seattle. Though she auditioned initially as the sole artist in "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three other female singers, were grouped together for the rest of the auditions. The group was named Lakoda Rayne. They were eliminated during the fifth week of live performances.
